Update your Fee Calculation and Technical Completeness Check (TCC) plugins now!
The Fee Calculation and the Technical Completeness Check (TCC) plugins have been updated to cover the change in information requirements caused by the coming into force of specific provisions of the CLP regulation.
Users are advised to update to these latest versions in order to have an accurate check result of their dossier. A number of provisions of the REACH Regulation have been amended from 1 December 2010 as a consequence of the legal provisions established in Article 58 of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP Regulation). Among other consequences, this amendment will have a direct impact on the information required for registering substances. The Fee Calculation and the Technical Completeness Check (TCC) plugins have been updated to help registrants to comply with these regulatory provisions. The installation packages for the plugins, including the user manuals, can be downloaded from the IUCLID website at: click here. The TCC plugin for IUCLID 5 is a tool designed to prevent TCC failures when submitting REACH registration dossiers and PPORD notifications to ECHA. The plugin enables a registrant to perform essentially the same TCC that is done at ECHA. A registrant therefore has the opportunity to correct potential problems before making a submission. The Fee Calculation plugin calculates the fees associated with REACH registration dossiers and PPORD notification submissions. Although the plugin gives advance information of the likely costs, registrants should wait for ECHA to issue an invoice before making their payment. ECHA strongly recommends that all registrants use the Fee Calculation plugin and the TCC plugin to detect any errors in their dossiers before submission to ECHA. Important note: these plugins can be used only with IUCLID versions 5.2 and above. http://iuclid.echa.europa.eu/index.php?fuseaction=home.news&type=public&id=46
